COULD THIS BE YOUR TYPICAL DAY?

Your holiday is your own, but here is how a typical day might pan out on a relaxing
European summer  holiday with Small Families.

Walking on the seabed - Cyprus Poolside - Portugal

Ok, let's start at the beginning - You're at the airport, you've already met the other parents in our private group and as usual, most of the children have already become pals and are playing together in the departure lounge before we've even boarded the aircraft!

DAY 2 (onwards)
You climb out of bed at - well, whatever time you like really - this is your holiday after all. Your kiddies might already be up, dressed and gone - on the other hand, they may still be 'dead to the world' - I'm sure you know what I mean!

Beautiful coved bay beach - Majorca The sun's shining, the sky is blue, maybe 10 minutes on your private balcony before heading down to breakfast - prepared and cleared away, ALL without your help - Wonderful!

No doubt your children are already off on the beach or hotel pool with their new found friends, so what do you do? - anything you like basically. Maybe you'll hit the beach too - or the pool sunloungers - how about a massage?

Then there's always the daytime entertainment activities - well maybe not, leave that to the kids - too energetic! Give that waiter a wave, "anyone fancy a coffee, beer, cocktail?" (I'll be glad when I've had enough of this!)

All the fun of the fair
Wake up - it's lunch time, "do you want to join me for a bite?  The kids are off 'doing', so we can have a chat". The full menu or just a snack? Perhaps a glass of wine, a cool beer (or 3).

After the leisurely 2, ok 3 hour lunch, is it back to the pool, beach or maybe a touch of retail? You could dig out that book you brought with you - an afternoon nap might even appeal. - Don't worry about the kids, they're all playing and looking out for each other as they do, anyway, they know where to find you.

Small Families - childrens group photo Wake up - dinners approaching.  Try and get those kids out of the pool and showered (they look just like prunes don't they). Time to put your glad-rags on, but hey, you don't have to - no formalities here.

Your Small Families host suggests it might be nice to meet up on the terrace or by the pool bar at 7pm(ish) for pre-dinner drinkies. Any excuse! Actually, it's a lovely way to meet up and socialise before we head off to our reserved tables for dinner.

Relaxing Dinner - Small Families - Tunisia

As usual, the children are finished within 30 seconds and off to play again, Hide & Seek is always a favourite and of course, the kiddies disco starts soon (they'll sleep well tonight).

True to form, the Small Families mums and dads will probably be the last out of the restaurant, we'll all sit here for another 3 hours chatting and forcing down the unlimited free wine - My word this is tough, but hey, it's adult chill-out time, appreciated by all - very pleasant.

Drinks on the Terrace - Morocco The main evening entertainment's about to start, shall we go and watch? It might not be quite the West End but sometimes it's all surprisingly good and the kids always love it, that's the main thing - keep them happy and occupied and you'll have a great holiday too!

A stroll along the waters edge is always nice this time of the evening - just look at that sunset!

Anyone fancy another drink?
