Travel Insurance with Small Families

Small Families aim to take the worry out of travelling as a single parent and we can offer you single parent family travel insurance. The policy should ideally be taken at the time of booking to ensure you have cancellation cover prior to your holiday, (cover taken out later might effect the cancellation cover aspect).  It is essential that you are adequately insured when you travel but you are not required to purchase travel insurance from Small Families.

Note: Insurance is only available to UK and northern Ireland residents.

PREMIUMS ARE PER FAMILY (One adult and up to 4 children to 18 years of age - includes insurance premium tax of 17.5%)

SMALL FAMILIES TRAVEL INSURANCE 2009-10

VALID FROM 1ST OCTOBER 2009 TO 30 SEPTEMBER 2010

The Insurance Regulations have changed and Small Families are now Financial Services Authority (FSA) Authorised Representatives of the N J Heritage Partnership Network (registration number 309297). This enables us to sell and advise you regarding travel insurance for your personal protection when on holiday, however, this is only applicable to trips arranged and/or operated by us. Our policy is called Travellers Choice Premier and is insured with ETI International Travel Protection who is also authorised and regulated by the FSA and subscribe to the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). A summary of the cover provided is shown below. It does not, however, contain all the conditions and exclusions but a full policy wording will be sent with your confirmation invoice.

DISCLOSURE OF PRE-EXISTING MEDICAL CONDITIONS

A copy of the full terms and conditions relating to the disclosure of pre-existing medical conditions will be sent to you with your policy wording. However in summary if you and any travelling companion/s or anyone your travel arrangements may depend such as a close relative or business associate suffers from any form of pre-existing medical condition or take prescribed medication you must disclose it to the insurer’s health line. You should telephone 0844 826 2700 stating that you are purchasing a Travellers Choice policy. The health line will be able to tell you if the insurer will extend your policy to cover your particular condition/s and if there is any additional premium to pay for this. Any additional premium is payable direct to the health line and a confirmation letter will be sent to you to retain with your policy.
