Your Small Families Host in Torquay will be Joanne

Joanne will be your Small Families host for your holiday this week.  He is there to ensure that your holiday runs smoothly and to assist should you have any problems or queries. 
  

Saturday 5th August
Arrive at the Victoria Hotel at your leisure during the day.  Hotel rooms will be available from 2.00pm.  Please present your Small Families hotel voucher at check-in.  Joanne will be in the hotel reception area from around 1.30pm to 3.00pm, should you miss him, you can reach him via the reception desk.

We suggest you meet Joanne for a Welcome Drink before dinner. (Exact time and venue will be advised at the hotel).

MEAL TIMES
Breakfast and Dinner are included in your holiday and will be taken in the elegant Victoria Restaurant.

Breakfast  -  8.00am to 9.45am

Dinner  -      6.30pm to 7.45pm

Joanne will reserve tables for the group in the restaurant and we suggest you meet each evening in the bar before dinner for a social pre-dinner drinks (cash basis).
 

 GENERAL INFORMATION

The hotel complex here in Torquay is large and has excellent facilities for both adults and children.  The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the beach and marina, with the main shopping centre also close by.

CHILDREN'S CLUBS

KidsZone (Age 3 to 10) – Your children will enjoy fun and games in a bright and safe environment packed with things to do. KitZone activities are supervised by a resident entertainments team.

TeenZone (Age 10 plus) – You don’t want to hang out with your parent all the time so the entertainment team have come up with a great programme suitable for you teens.

CLIMATE & CLOTHING – As you are aware, the good old British weather is very changeable so be prepared for anything, but we know you are probably hoping for warm sunny days so please take care in the mid day sun.  Good walking shoes or trainers are recommended if you intend to do any sightseeing.  Please do not wear bathing wear in the restaurants.

EXCURSIONS
We do not try to sell you excursions, however, there is a lot to see and do in Torquay and surrounding areas.  Joanne can check out what's what and advise you accordingly. Should you decide, as a group, that you would like to take a particular tour or visit an attraction, it may be possible, better value and more interesting to hire our own transport and 'make a day of it'  Joanne can make the necessary arrangements.

RECEPTION – The reception desk is open 24 hours daily.

TOWELS - Are supplied in the rooms but towels for the pools are not.  Towels can be obtained at the indoor leisure pool for a small deposit.

HAIR DRYERS – These are available in your room.

KETTLES – Tea & Coffee making facilities are available in your room.

SATURDAY 12th AUGUST

Rooms must be vacated by 11.00am however your luggage may be stored in reception should you wish to leave the hotel later in the day.  You may still use the hotel facilities.
