 SMALL FAMILIES PARTY WEEKEND 2008

Friday January 25th - 2 Nights

you to our 5th annual Party Weekend - we look forward to meeting you

FRIDAY 25^th JANUARY
Arrive at the Menzies hotel & Golf Club at your leisure during the day.  Hotel rooms will be available from 2.30pm.  Please present your Small Families hotel voucher to the reception at check-in.

A television will be set up to show films, especially for the children .  This will be available from early evening. 

Dinner this evening will be served until 10pm in the Cambridgeshire Suite.  After dinner, if you wish, you can meet your Small Families hosts and fellow guests while enjoying a relaxing drink in the stylish hotel bar. 

PLEASE NOTE: Evening meal on Friday is included and available until 10pm. For those of you arriving after this time,  24hr room service is available, however, this will be at additional cost.

SATURDAY 26^th JANUARY 
7am – 10am.  Breakfast is served in the main restaurant.

Full day at Leisure - Today you are free to enjoy the superb hotel facilities, hit the golf course or do whatever you wish. However, we have arranged a courtesy coach for anyone wishing to go into Cambridge city centre (approx. 10am). World famous, of course, for it's university and outstanding architecture, Cambridge also offers some stylish shops, cafe's and pleasant walking opportunities and is well worth a visit.  At a pre-arranged time, the coach will transport you back to our hotel. (We advise against driving into the city as parking in Cambridge centre is rather difficult and expensive).

PARTY NIGHT   7pm - Our private bar opens in the Augusta Room for a complimentary welcome drink before our private dinner in the Cambridgeshire Suite.  Our child friendly private disco will get into full swing after dinner and will rock on until midnight (or maybe even longer!)  We know you'll have a great evening and at some point during the early evening, there will also be a children's entertainer, (exact details will be advised).

Dress Code
Tonight is party night and you are very welcome to ‘dress up’ accordingly, however, we want everyone to feel comfortable, so the dress code will be smart casual.

SUNDAY 27^th JANUARY 
7am – 10am.   Breakfast is served in the main restaurant.

11am - Please ensure that your room is vacated and any hotel account settled.  Luggage may be left in reception until you are ready to depart if you are not travelling with a car.  You are welcome to continue to use the hotel facilities after check-out on Sunday.

WAVES HEALTH AND LEISURE CLUB
The hotel offers a fully equipped health and leisure club including Jacuzzi and sauna. Use of Waves is included for hotel residents, so remember your bathing costumes for the leisure pool, towels are provided.

GOLF COURSE
The Golf Club stand in a fabulous 130 acre country park and offers a superb 18 hole championship course.  Bring along your clubs if you fancy a round.  Green fees for residents is approx. £25 per person and can be booked in advance or on arrival.
