Christmas in Lapland
Join Small Families in Lapland for a New Year activity experience inside the Arctic Circle
Whilst
just a few centimetres of snow might well 'shut down' much of Great
Britain, Lapland bursts into
life when the snow falls!
Your children will love the
magical atmosphere of Lapland. There is just nowhere better to spend
your 2010 New Year celebrations.
Your
comfortable holiday base will be the lovely Hotel Ivalo, which is located on the outskirts of the town of Ivalo in
Lapland (over 150 miles inside the Arctic Circle)
The hotel is set in extensive grounds
on the banks of a
frozen river.
Your
activity
holiday is full
board so includes breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as the full
programme of New Year activities.
FACILITIES
Sauna, dip pool and hot tub. Evening music in the outside bar. A full set of arctic clothing
will be provided including boots, socks, gloves, thermal suit & hat.
The hotel has a good range of winter sports equipment including
toboggans.
You can also try your hand at snow-shoe walking, x-country skiing as
well as ice skating on the outdoor rink opposite the hotel.
NEW YEAR
PROGRAM
For each day there will be a different and fascinating activity planned. During the week
you will experience husky driving, reindeer sleigh
rides, quad biking and snowmobiles.
There will also be some 'children free time' for the adults each
afternoon while your hosts show them a movie.
Adult only sauna time each afternoon reserved especially for Small
Families
Oh yes, don't worry, there will be plenty of time for
simply ‘messing about’ in the snow too!
