Small Families is a holiday company with a difference. Specifically set up to provide single parent family holidays. Our speciality is arranging quality escorted holidays for single parent families. We have been running holidays for single parents since 2002 and have a tried and tested format that has proven to be very popular with our single parents.

                       NOT ALL TOUR OPERATORS ARE THE SAME!           So what's the difference between Small Families and the more traditional holiday company?

Small Families was launched in 2002 to address an age-old family holiday dilemma for single parents. 

Travelling with young children, especially overseas, can often be  daunting but doing this as a single parent can be an even more nerve-racking prospect and often a very lonely experience too.

Single parent families have always ‘drawn the short straw’ when it comes to holidays – Insensitive agents and hotels, the inevitable single supplements etc.

While most 'traditional' tour operators will happily take your  booking, very few of them really support single parents by offering privately escorted group holidays with a full-time holiday host - as opposed to just a resort 'rep'.

So once again, you are very likely to be (or feel), 'alone' in the resort due to a lack of other single adult company, (especially in the evenings), in resorts and hotels dominated by couples!

Fortunately, with Small Families, this situation just doesn't arise, you'll never have to be on your own - unless you choose to be.

What can we offer you?

Firstly, the costs are Clear. Transparent. Precise. 'What you see is what you pay' with  No hidden 'extras' so unlike many complex brochures, you won't need a maths degree to calculate the true cost of your holiday!

Your Expectations - No one who holidays with us would expect sub-standard hotels in tacky or 'questionable' resorts and we will never offer that type of holiday to you.

Of course, we could go camping, or use hostels with shared accommodation, shared bathrooms and basic facilities etc. but our clients have made it very clear they want more comfort, more attention and better facilities on their annual holiday, (not to mention, no cooking, shopping, washing up or cleaning)!

So we only use hotels where the resorts, accommodation, food, facilities and locations have been checked by us before we offer them to you and your children.

So what does a Small Families holiday provide?

2. Absolutely No hidden extra costs to our advertised holiday price.(What you see is what you pay)**

4. As a single parent, we know you'll be forever busy, so we offer a financially bonded† 'One Stop Shop'. No hassle or complexity of sorting your own flights and transfers - we do it all!  Just get yourselves to the airport and Small Families will take it from there!

SMALL FAMILIES HOLIDAY PRIZE WINNERS 2008

After attending our annual party weekend at the Menzies hotel, Cambridge in January 2008, Cathy and Georgia (pictured) from Stratford-Upon-Avon, found themselves the lucky winners of a 7 night Mediterranean Cruise aboard the Island Escape.  Cathy and Georgia had never travelled with Small Families before, so to win our cruise during her 'taster' weekend came as a very pleasant shock/surprise!!   (Cruise donated courtesy of Island Cruises)

Pictured here with Captain Guy Lockwood on the Bridge during the ships departure from the stylish port of Nice, France on August 27th.

Congratulations also to Graham and Kieran from Hyde who won our 7 night holiday to the ever popular Hotel Mediterranee in Tunisia.

This was Graham and son Kieran's third holiday with Small Families, having been to Tunisia and Portugal in 2006 & 2007.
